Profile: Sven is an accredited Tripod Beta practitioner and trainer with an engineering background. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Twente and a master’s degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In addition to incident investigation, his work focuses on strengthening key elements of safety management systems, including risk management processes and the development of learning organisations. This also includes business continuity support, aimed at helping organisations build resilience to major disruptions. These areas of expertise are applied in both his roles as an incident investigator and trainer, enabling him to deliver meaningful, practice-oriented insights.
His experience spans a wide range of sectors, including industry, transport, healthcare and governmental organisations.
The training programmes are characterised by a modern blended learning approach, combining e-learning modules with practical training sessions to create a highly interactive learning experience. Courses are offered in Dutch, English and Swedish.
