Tripod Lite: training course
Tripod Lite is a free to use incident investigation tool, designed for investigating simple incidents and near misses. Our online training course will give new users the grounding they need to use Tripod Lite to investigate simple incidents and near misses. It includes videos, quizzes, information sheets and case studies to introduce learners to the tool, explain its theoretical basis, and guide learners through a step-by-step process of incident investigation.

This course is suitable for anyone who needs to use the Tripod Lite investigation tool, as well as those who are seeking an introduction to incident investigation and analysis.

Tripod Beta: Bronze Practitioner training courses
Bronze courses teach you the Tripod Beta methodology. You will gain a theoretical understanding of the Tripod Beta methodology and terminology. You will be able to read Tripod diagrams and reports, and be able to assist incident investigation/analysis as a team member. This is the first step to becoming an accredited silver or gold practitioner.
All Bronze level accredited Tripod Beta Practitioner training courses:
- - Are run by accredited trainers
- - Include Stichting Tripod Foundation-approved course content
- - Include the Tripod Beta knowledge test, and
- - Provide Stichting Tripod Foundation and Energy Institute Bronze-level certification for candidates that successfully complete the knowledge test. Successful candidates will be awarded Bronze Practitioner status, the first step towards becoming Silver and Gold accredited Tripod Beta Practitioners.

Accredited Tripod trainers have been independently certified by the Stichting Tripod Foundation. They have extensive experience of applying Tripod Beta to investigations so their training is based upon an in-depth understanding of the practical application of Tripod theory.
